Gemma Hayes performed a concert at Google’s headquarters in Dublin last week (14th Jan 2010) as part of their Musicians@Google series. During the half-hour set she played:
10:22 Ae Fond Kiss
13:08 Waiting For You
18:28 Shock To The System
24:01 Back Of My Hand
30:24 Oliver
34:00 Cloudbursting
38:33 Happy/Sad
Below you’ll find the YouTube video embedded. You can use the times above to skip straight to the new tunes if you wish. The Kate Bush cover of Cloudbursting (which Gemma gave away as a free mp3 download over Xmas) is really wonderful.
Here’s the blurb taken from the YouTube page:

Tonight Gemma Hayes posted an interesting update to her Twitter, that she plans to record a song this Thursday. She’s looking for requests from her Twitter followers on what song to cover – so if you’ve always wanted to hear Gemma play a certain song, then now’s your chance! The intention is to make the tune available as a free download over Christmas :)
Hey – an idea.I’ll record a cover and release it as a free download for Christmas.Catch is u choose the song. Most popular request wins xx
My choices would be Wham – Last Christmas, or Mew – She Came Home For Christmas
Send your request via Twitter to @gemma_hayes … but you’ll have to be quick
Update: ah… I didn’t spot that it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Christmas song :)
